Flight 2294 was scheduled to fly from Nashville, TN to Baltimore’s BWI airport but was forced to land at Charleston, West Virginia after a hole opened in the fuselage.
One of the passengers Passenger Brian Cunningham told NBC’s “Today” show Tuesday he had dozed off in his seat and then was aroused by “the loudest roar I’d ever heard.”
The Boeing 737-300 lost pressure approximately 30 minutes into the flight, and passengers could see through the 1-foot hole on the upper side of the plane’s cabin. No injuries were reported
