To break up the monotony of business travel and to provide a unique experience and fresh perspective in a city, I have found a few boutique hotels and hotel alternatives that I keep in my list.
Whenever I travel to the city of Miami, I always stay at one of the Art Deco Hotels or Art Deco Condos on Ocean Drive in the Historic Art Deco District. Ocean Drive is THE place for people watching, great bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
Among my favorites are the Park Central:

The Mercury in SoFi, which has a great restaurant perfect for entertaining business guests, called Nemo’s:

and a privately owned Art Deco Studio condo, # 215 found at 530 Ocean Drive, seen here:

Studio 215 at 530 Ocean Drive offers an in room safe, full kitchen, cable TV and a full sized refrigerator.
The first thing I do is hit one of the many local markets and stock up with all the comforts of home for my stay at this lovely studio. To reserve this studio contact: OceanDriveRental@aol.com
You are within close proximity to the Convention hotels, The Miami Beach Convention center, dowtown Miami and all of the other attractions. The best thing about staying on Ocean Drive is when you want to freshen up that tan, take a swim, or stroll the sexiest beach in America, you simply walk out the front door and cross Ocean Drive
These Hotels are 20 minutes away from Miami International Airport and are on Ocean Drive, offering views of the ocean and the famous strip from many of their rooms.
